When Medda Larkin wears a dressing gown, it must be as lavishly over-the-top as she is! In our costume stock, I found a sequin dance dress to be the base layer of this costume, and ordered a feather lingerie robe from Amazon. But… our Medda needed more. 😉
To enhance our over-the-top-ness, I sewed lace and silver holographic sequin trim to the sleeve and the skirt. I gathered the fabric at the shoulders, and trimmed with rhinestone cup chain, then topped the costume off with a belt made from metallic silver elastic sequin trim. These little details didn’t take much time, but they added a big punch!
